Langesthei Alm

Langestheier Alm is a welcome place to stop-off for refreshments (please enquire in the information office in Kappl beforehand to see if the lodge is open) en route to the Pezinerspitze, which at 2.050m sits enthroned high above Langestheier Alpe and the two go together well during a hike.

The lodge itself is situated at around 2000m and provides a superb view to the Paznaun basin.

However, there is another, steeper climb from Kappl; from the hamlet of Langesthei the hike is not quite so arduous.

After climbing you can really relax at the top, when all your exertions are behind you.
