Bike & Hike Galtür - Breitspitze

The tour starts at the information office in Galtür. By bike, the route initially follows the Trisanna, later next to the Zeinis lake on the Paznaun cycle path to the Zeinisjoch alpine inn at just under 2,000 metres. Here you can safely park your mountain bike in the bike depot. The alpine inn, which is already in the province of Vorarlberg, is perfect for a short break with a view of the lake. On foot, follow the path towards Breitspitze. This first follows the Kopsstausee lake and later winds its way, turn by turn, above the tree line to the summit. From the Breitspitze (2,203 m) you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Kopsstausee.

Tip: If you're hungry after the bike & hike tour, it's best to fish for your own refreshments. Daily fishing licences are available for the Zeinis and Kops reservoirs.

With the railway station in Landeck, the Paznaun is optimally connected to the Austrian train network. From Landeck-Zams station, only a short bus ride separates you from the Paznaun. Every half hour, line bus 260 runs from there through the valley. Bus stop: Galtür Dorfplatz
