Take the cable car initially to the Idalp at 2.320 m. After that, take the chair lift up to the Flimjoch. The hike then undulates continually, but moderately so, before heading down from the Palinkopf into Fimbatal, where you pass the border for Switzerland before reaching the Alpine inn. Return section: Through Fimbatal the route to the intermediate station is flat throughout – then somewhat steeper down to Ischgl.
