Bike & Hike Galtür - Predigberg

The starting point for this tour is the information office in Galtür. With the bike, you start off comfortably on the valley floor in the direction of Tschafein. Shortly after Tschafein, take the lower forest path and follow it through the forest into the Larein valley. The path into the almost untouched valley is lined with wildflowers and herbs and runs moderately along the mountain stream to the Larein Alpe (1,850 m). Here you can park your mountain bike and take a break at the cosy hut. Now the hike starts in the direction of Vergiel, which first leads through the forest and finally above the tree line to the Predigberg (2,645 m). From the Predigberg you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Jamtal valley and the Larein valley.
 
Tip: Depending on the season, the natural spectacle in the Larein Valley changes - in summer the pink alpine roses dominate, in autumn it's the bright orange larches.

The autoroute (A12 (westbound) or A14 (eastbound)) leads you to the Arlbergschnellstraße (S 16). At the exit for Pians, turn onto the Paznauntalstraße (B 188) and follow its course into the Paznaun.

At the Arzthaus Galtür or at the Sports and Culture Centre Galtür

With the railway station in Landeck, the Paznaun is optimally connected to the Austrian train network. From Landeck-Zams station, only a short bus ride separates you from the Paznaun. Every half hour, line bus 260 runs from there through the valley. Bus stop: Galtür Dorfplatz
