Ischgl-Tour 06: Madleinsee

Ischgl Talstation Silvrettabahn - Madleinsee

Starting from the Silvretta cable car in Ischgl cross the main road and follow the signposts for Madleinsee. From here follow the hiking trail to Mutta and Kreuzbichl and you will eventually come to Madleinsee where a sheep flock spends the summer. From there head north, you will see the Küchlspitze (3,147 m) which guarantees a wonderful view. Return section: same way back.

The autoroute (A12 (westbound) or A14 (eastbound)) leads you to the Arlbergschnellstraße (S 16). At the exit for Pians, turn onto the Paznauntalstraße (B 188) and follow its course into the Paznaun.

With the railway station in Landeck, the Paznaun is optimally connected to the Austrian train network. From Landeck-Zams station, only a short bus ride separates you from the Paznaun. Every half hour, line bus 260 runs from there through the valley. Bus stop: Ischgl Silvrettabahn
