Starting from the Silvretta cable car in Ischgl the hike proceeds to Ischgl church and continues to Hotel Valülla. Fromthere follow the signposts for Fimbatal and the hiking trail tothe intermediate station. The route then heads along Bodenalpe, Gampenalpe, past Fimba Alpeto Heidelberger Hütte. Fimbatal is the biggest lateral valley in Paznaun. Return journey via metered lodge taxi (call +43 (0)664 4253070 to make arrangements inadvance). Alternative ascent: Via the cable car tothe intermediate station. Return route variants: Via metered lodge taxi or on foot via the same route, or via Ritzenjoch (2,687 m) - to Lareintal and then to Mathon.
Arrival
The autoroute (A12 (westbound) or A14 (eastbound)) leads you to the Arlbergschnellstraße (S 16). At the exit for Pians, turn onto the Paznauntalstraße (B 188) and follow its course into the Paznaun.

Public transport
With the railway station in Landeck, the Paznaun is optimally connected to the Austrian train network. From Landeck-Zams station, only a short bus ride separates you from the Paznaun. Every half hour, line bus 260 runs from there through the valley. Bus stop: Ischgl Silvrettabahn
